Dr. Damaris-Lois Yamoah Lang (1975–2025) was a respected educator, scientist, advocate, and community leader whose life was dedicated to service, education, and equity. A native of Ghana, she earned advanced degrees in biology and became a full Professor at the City University of New York before serving as Dean of the Sciences at Alliance University. In Hastings-on-Hudson, NY, she championed educational access through her work on the Board of Education and as founder of P-CoC. A devoted Christian, wife, and mother, she leaves behind a legacy of scholarship, compassion, and lasting impact on her community and countless lives.

Dr. Yamoah Lang was a beacon in her community, and we are committed to honoring her legacy by continuing the work she began. In alignment with this mission, we are excited to announce that all proceeds from her foundation have been transitioned and transferred to the Artist Paj’on Scholarship Foundation.

We are deeply grateful for this partnership and the impact it will have on the students we serve.
